Jack is blessed to have 3 grandparents within 20 minutes of our house. He also has 4 great grandparents within 2 hours. Jack gets to see Justin's parents at least one a week, most weeks it's two or three times. We also facetime with my mom on weekdays during breakfast, and she comes to play with him on Friday afternoons after work.
Today, Justin and I went to see the new bond movie, and Jack got to go play with Vo, my mom. He had a blast with mom and my brothers, and didn't even realize we were gone.
Having family close, also means they can help out when we need it. Justin has been working a lot of overtime, and I teach on Monday nights. So, it's nice to know I can just call up my mom and she can come play with Jack.
I didn't grow up close to my grandparents, so I love that that is not the case for Jack.
He LOVES his grandparents, and enjoys visiting with the great grandparents.
I am so thankful he gets to grow up with so much support from family. We also have amazing friends, but that's for another day :)
