Day 16: I am thankful for cake orders

Yes, cakes are a great way to bring in a little more money. But, it's also a great way to keep my sanity and express my creativity :) I really enjoy making cakes! I love getting to play with fondant and learn new things.  I had a couple projects this week, one of which I was given total freedom over what to do. Usually, that's terrifying, but I had a lot of fun with this one. I got to play around with some new cutters and a different color scheme. I don't currently have much else on the schedule for the rest of the year, but I am thankful for all the cakes that come in, so I can continue to learn more about decorating and grow my skills.
