Kitchen!

One of the things that I loved about this house when we first looked at it was the size of the kitchen. When we first put in an offer we were thinking maybe we would paint and possibly put in new floors. I had no idea we would end up doing so much to it before we moved it!

Once we got the keys it was time to get to work. First we (mostly mom) cleaned our kitchen. She also took out the wine rack from above the fridge as we don't really drink, it makes a great book shelf.
Jack decided that he didn't want to be away from mom. For a couple days he didn't even really want to go with Justin, so he spent a lot of time in the Bjorn. (He loves the Bjorn and now gets to hang from it every day while Justin waters the new grass) Once the kitchen was clean we were able to get started on a few projects:
Angelique and Katie put up this awesome shelf system! It holds soooo much stuff.

Then we put in the floors
As the appliances were all out of the way because of the flooring, and Best Buy was having a great deal, we decided to get all new appliances! Justin and His dad worked on the microwave, connected the water to the fridge.Mom and Marcelo installed the dishwasher.

We also got an Island! I love how it turned out! i will blog about it later!
And then there is the back splash! I will blog all about it soon!
I absolutely LOVE my kitchen! It's pretty awesome! I have so much room to bake/decorate in!

The only thing missing now is the faucet I want, which is on the future projects list :)
