Getting ready for Christmas!

Justin and I don't have a lot of traditions but at Christmas times we have a couple we like to keep. Every year we get a tree from Scott's Farm, on the corner of 15-501 and Garrett Rd. Their trees are really fresh, reasonably priced and they are only 1/4 mile away from our house.
We put in the Charlie Brown Christmas DVD and decorate our tree.
First we put on the lights, then the star (which took us forever to find a tree topper we actually liked)

Then we put up the rest of the decorations and bring down the gifts that I always buy early and have ready to go for when the tree is ready. I love buying gifts! Every year I buy way more gifts than I need to for way more people than I need to but, I just love it. Which is part of why I start so early, by starting earlier in the season I can be in the look out for great deals. Also, I like to avoid crowds and enjoy the holidays instead of stressing out. For those who aren't done shopping, don't hate me, you still have plenty of time!

I also bake a lot during the holiday season. This year the first batch of sugar cookies were some Christmas cookies and some where start of David for one of the families I babysit for who celebrate Hanukkah .

Thanks for reading!
