Balloon Wreath

This was one of the crafts I did for Jack's party. I didn't take as many pictures as I thought, but you will hopefully be able to get the idea. I looked at lots of online tutorials, and decided to make things as easy as possible. Most of the online tutorials use floral clips, I went to buy some, and realized they were like $3 for a box of 50. Thinking I was going to be using around 200 balloons (ended up using more), I decide dI wasn't going to use them. Instead, I decided to try using plain old straight pins. I picked up a box of like 500 for a couple bucks.

So here is what you will need: Balloons! lots and lots of balloons!
pins
             straw wreath

I decided to keep the plastic wrap on the wreath, to minimize the mess
The process is really simple. Just take one or two balloons at a time, and pin them on the wreath. Repeat this over and over and over again.

Here is the wreath after 159 balloons:

And this is the final wreath, any guesses on how many balloons??
To attach the wreath to the door, I just took a piece of wire and stabbed the back of the wreath and made a little loop.

  1. Since you said it was more than 200, I'm going to guess 324 balloons. I like it and it looks fairly simple the way you did it.
